Douglas Kerr and Friends Featuring Members of The Allmost Brothers and GD/BC Douglas Kerr of Squamish, BC is a singer-songwriter and drummer with a career spanning over 25 years. But if you ask him what he does best, it’s bringing amazing musicians together. Take his band DKAF (Douglas Kerr and Friends) which brings award-winning musicians and local legends together to share the stage. Their catalogue of high-energy folk, rock and blues music appeals to all ages, and keeps the dance floor going all night. Since forming the band in 2019 Douglas continues to explore the musical possibilities and potential of the band as it grows its fan base. The band has become known for some legendary long sets often playing music until the early morning hours. With endless amounts of material to draw from a DKAF show is a different musical experience every time. “This band is really about having a great time and playing some of the music we love.” DKAF pays tribute to the likes of The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Little Feat, Phish, Rolling Stones, The Band and so much more. Douglas also performs songs from his two albums “Mountain Sites” and “In a Moment” and his upcoming EP due for release in 2024. “I think the most important thing to remember when putting on a show is making sure it’s a great night out for people. That's exactly what we intend to do when we come to play the Roberts Creek Hall in November” Douglas Kerr and Friends Friday November 3rd Featuring Todd Taylor, Brad Tidswell, Gord Kushner, Scott Russell and Marcus Charalambous

The Garlic Band was formed in 2019 by Douglas Kerr to play the annual garlic fest at Willowcraft Farm in Birken BC. The band includes Douglas Kerr (drums) Marcus Chralambous (bass) Gord Kushner (guitar, vocals) Brad Tideswell (Lead Guitar Vocals ) and Jordan White on (keys) The chemistry between the musicians was apparent that first night they played together as they performed an unforgettable night of music until late into the next morning. The tradition continued In the summer of 2021 in what turned out to be another notoriously long set of music deep into the morning hours. Thanks to host Miko Aiko ( Mike Roger ) the band has taken form and has followed up with gigs in Feb and March of 2022. Its time to take this band to the mainstream. Come out and join us as we play a catalogue of music from all our favourite bands. Partial proceeds from the event will go towards the Squamish Food Bank we're also encouraging people to bring non perishable food dontions in support of the Squamish Food Bank.
